- Description
- The lower part of a Gray Ware handle with a boss or knob at its base. The handle is made by joining two tubular pieces of clay, one larger than the other. A silvery wash on the outside of the handle. The stance suggests that the knob end was joined to the shoulder of a large vessel. Hard, micaceous fabric.
