- Description
Four joining fragments of rim, body, base, and handle of rosette bird bowl. Plain rim; wide bowl; disc base; only stumps of single loop handle preserved. Red to brown over polished clay surface. Exterior, metope decoration bordered with a line along rim and a band below. Handle zone: stalked rosette in metope with short vertical lines on each side. Central part of bowl missing. Rays rise from foot. Interior: four red lines applied over a matt dark line over light brown slip; the upper red horizontal line, below rim, is applied over an added white band. Center of bowl, two thin lines encircling a single dot over a reserved area.
