- Description
- Heavily corroded spit. Long and straight; triangular leaf-shaped, flattened at one end, and pointed at the other end; two large knobs each placed near both ends; smaller knobs are preserved along the other parts of rod. The smaller knobs may well be part of the corrosion; however the two large knobs, especially the one near the pointed end, seem to have stuck on the spit when it went out of use and do not belong to the original.
