[Φ]ίλων Ἀπολλωνίου Δημητρίῳ τῷ υἱῷ καὶ αὑτῷ ἐποίησεν τὸ μνη- 4 μῖον καὶ τοῖ‹ς› θρέμασιν Εὐανγέλῳ καὶ Νίκωνι, leaf leaf Ὀνησίμῳ, Τελεσφόρῳ, Ἐλπιδηφόρῳ· καὶ μηδέ- 8 να ἐξὸν εἶναι τεθῆναι χωρὶς ὧν προγέγραφα. τ̣ὶς βιάσεται, ἰς Καίσαρα (δηνάρια) ̗α θ(ήσει?).
- Inscription Translation
- “Philon, son of Apollonios, built the tomb for Demetrios, his son, and for himself and for his foster-children Euangelos and Nikon, Onesimos, Telesphoros, (and) Elpidephoros. And nobody shall have the permission to be buried (here) except for those whom I have aforementioned. Whosoever forces (burial, has to pay) 1,000 denarii to the Emperor’s treasure.”
