Ἐπὶ Μηνοφάντου τοῦ Σόλονος, μηνὸς Ἀπελλαίου ς´ ἀπιόντος· Ἰόλλη Μενελάου.

- “In the year when Menophantos, son of Solon, held office, on the sixth day from the end of the month Apellaios, (died) Iolle, daughter of Menelaos.”

Cinerarium of marble with a roof-shaped lid. The inscription is written on the lid.

1 Σόλονος: read Σόλωνος.
3 Ἰόλλη (more usual: Ἰόλη): the related male name is Ἰόλλας (on the name see O. Masson, OGS 1, p. 234). On both names see my commentary on TAM V 3, 1509.
