Comments

This was probably a building inscription mentioning the construction or repair of an aqueduct; cf. the “record of the completion of an aqueduct by Claudius,” Sardis VII 1, no. 10.

1 The remains of the letters following ΥΔΩΡ might belong to Μ̣[ . ]Η̣.

2 Perhaps ἀνθ̣[υπάτου] or ἀνθ̣[υπατεύοντος]; cf. IGSK 24, 1 (Smyrna), nos. 680–681.
