    Comments

2 Ἡ βουλὴ καὶ ὁ δῆμος ἐτείμησεν: plural subject with singular verb, a frequent inconsistency; see no. 339, 1–2 comm.

5 For the eirenarchos, see L. Robert, Op. Min. II, pp. 878–80, and Et. anat.., pp. 96–110.

8 The isolated A, which “intrudes” into l. 7 could be written over a lost eighth line that followed after a larger vacat.
