This coin type: Obverse: Bust r. laur. CΛESΛR ΛVGVSTVS DIVI F PΛTER PΛTRIΛE; Reverse: Gaius and Lucius Caesar standing facing, between shields and spear; above, lituus and simpulum ΛVGVSTI F COS DESIG.

Pierced (rev would hang upside down; Augustus sideways), worn

Weight: 3.03g; Diameter: 19mm.
Comments
Imitation of Augustan type from Lugdunum mint (nice style). Plated, traces of silver on both sides. RIC XII p. 55 n. 205 and ff. Sutherland (1984) notes that unbarred ‘A’s are normal for the entire series and “imitations are of widespread provenance.”. Pierced for attachment.
