Price (1991 p. 117) noted that 11 [9 are listed in M7] other examples of this coin were found in the Sardis excavations, calling the mint in western Asia Minor “virtually certain”; cf. Ashton 1998 p. 45. For the suggestion of mint, see Evans, in Kosmin and Berlin 2018.
