- Comments
- Concave reverse. This coin is given to the reign of Augustus due to the placement of the city name on the obverse, the style of the head of Herakles (Johnston’s “‘later’ generous proportions”, M7 p. 80), and the relatively broad flan. The magistrate’s name is not attested on Hellenistic issues of Herakles/Apollo.
