- Description
- Shoulder fragment. Incised dot-rosette on the shoulder. Below is a wide band of black glaze with a line of added red. Glaze: black and shiny, but worn. Clay: fine, hard and irregular at the breaks. The firing gives the appearance of two layers with pale orange on the interior, yellow-buff on the exterior. Munsell nos.: interior, 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink); exterior, 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown).
