Description
Probably late in LPC or early in TR. Base and foot. A band of glaze appears near the break. Below, a series of tongues, placed close together and executed carelessly, springs from the join of the foot. No incision. Glaze originally covered the slant of the foot. The under part of the foot is reserved, with a small depression in the center. Glaze: black and worn. Clay: fine, smooth, and somewhat powdery. Yellow-buff. Munsell no. 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown).
