Block of marble with a tabula ansata. The inscription was written, running over the molding, when the tabula ansata (turned 90 degrees) was reused.

1–2 The English translation corresponds to that of Herrmann: “(Grab) des Aur(elius) Tatianos Hypsikles, Ratsherren von Sardeis…” Hypsikles may perhaps have been the name of the father of Aurelius Tatianos.
