- Schultz (1997 p. 19) believed that the bronze issues minted in the sanctuaries of Athena Nikephoros and Asklepios are not well sorted, nor can they be dated; he suggested that the Hellenistic coins that feature Athena and Asklepios cannot be distinguished from Roman-era issues of similar iconography. Johnston in M7 again followed von Fritze (1910) in dating these coins to before 133 BC. Late Roman context; mg. App. 2.
